This year we have expanded our awards to include more universities in the Sydney region.\n\n  This year our awards ceremony will feature as guest speaker\,  Dr. Masahiro Kohara\, Consul-General of Japan in Sydney\, and co-patron of the Society (along with the Premier of NSW).\n  Consul-General Kohara will make some remarks on the topic 'Issues in Japan and the Australia-Japan Relationship'.\n\n  The outstanding students will receive their awards in company of their professors and AJS members and friends. The guest remarks and awards ceremony will be followed by a networking reception.\n\n  We look forward to welcoming members and friends and especially our awardees and their lecturers to what promises to be a lively evening.\n\n  Registrations are now open so sign up online here (secure payment by credit card or Paypal) or post the attached sheet.\n\n
