Jane will also cover Australia’s business environment and capabilities\; and Austrade’s business model for promoting and attracting investment\, particularly in the Government’s priority sectors.\n  Jane joined Austrade to lead the Investment Division in February 2013.\n She brings experience across a wide range of policy\, corporate and strategic positions with the Departments of and Resources\, Energy and Tourism (RET) and Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). She has worked overseas extensively\, with postings to Paris\, UN\, Tokyo and Pretoria/Cape Town and head of mission experience. Other previous roles include Head of Tourism Division (RET) and Australia’s lead negotiator for investment\, services and intellectual property in DFAT’s Office of Trade Negotiations.\n \n Jane has qualifications in Economics\, Japanese\, law (from ANU and University of Tasmania) and a Graduate Certificate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
