Japanese Speaking Night

"Shaberanaito" (Japanese speaking night) is back again and we are holding it on Tanabata (Star Festival)! Join AJS NSW and JETAA NSW members and friends to speak Japanese while eating delicious Japanese food!
Thanks to the success from our last Shaberanaito event, this time we will again hold the event at Izakaya Masuya (Ground Floor, 12-14 O’Connell St, Sydney 2000). We will also have the entire restaurant to ourselves (貸し切り).
Date: Friday 7 July 2023 - Tanabata Festival (aka. Star Festival)
Time: 6:30pm Start (Doors open from 6:00pm)
Location: Izakaya Masuya (Ground Floor, 12-14 O’Connell St, Sydney 2000)
Cost: $50pp (AJS NSW + JETAA Members & Guests), $55pp (non-members)
Registration Closes: Tuesday 4 July 2023 or until spots are filled (max 40 people so sign up quick!)
The registration includes a set menu and a free drink. The restaurant has flagged an increase in costs, so we appreciate your understanding in accommodating the rising costs.

The restaurant will conduct a quiz with prizes that includes bluefin tuna with natto (黒鮪の納豆添え), grilled bluefin tuna (黒鮪のカマ焼き), egg sake (卵酒), and a book!
