Showcasing Manufacturing Innovation and Quantum Technology in Parramatta
AJS-NSW members and friends have a wonderful opportunity to hear from experts in manufacturing innovation and the circular economy with a particular focus on Western Sydney.
David Martin, Director of Emerging Industries and Innovation at the Ai Group (Australian Industry Group), will outline how Australia is leading the Quantum revolution. This revolutionary technology is rapidly becoming a business reality that will transform industries across the world.
Held at the Western Sydney University's Launch Pad technology incubator in Parramatta, the event will also feature a short talk by Allan Leung, State Manager NSW for Japanese company OMRON, and a demonstration of the Omron Proof of Concept (PoC) Centre, which showcases technology for robotics and industrial automation.
This cutting-edge facility is co-located with WSU's Engineering Innovation Hub. It is expected to attract up to 5,000 visitors annually, providing local industries and businesses with access to leading technology and equipment, extensive global knowledge, and a robust pool of highly skilled engineering talent.
This will be an informative event for anyone interested in innovation, advanced technology for manufacturing, robotics, quantum and case studies of successful university - industry collaboration. The talk and tour will be followed by networking over drinks and snacks.
The event will start from 5PM to accommodate the Omron PoC tour. The WSU Launch Pad space is very close to Parramatta Station.
